The most searched neighbourhoods in Surrey, BC on REW.

By REW Editor

Another year, another Canuck’s head coach, and another change in search patterns on REW. In Surrey, we’ve noticed an increasing interest in five neighbourhoods in particular, areas that make up our list of the five most searched neighbourhoods in the City of Parks so far this year. Our reigning champion, Cloverdale, continues to lead the charge.

1. Cloverdale

Cloverdale

Saddle up, it’s time for the rodeo. Cloverdale is the ultimate balance of urban and rural vibes that blend together seamlessly. Its history is richer than David Attenborough’s accent with heritage sites and museums that will transport you back in time. And the nature surrounding it is so beautiful, it could make even the most avid city-slicker contemplate taking up hiking. With top-notch education, healthcare, and community spirit, it’s easy to see why so many homeseekers are searching for homes in Cloverdale.

2. Fleetwood-Tynehead

Fleetwood

If you’re looking for a band that has it all, try Fleetwood Mac. If you’re looking for a neighbourhood that’s got it all, try Fleetwood-Tynehead (more commonly simply referred to as Fleetwood). With its charming tree-lined streets and countless parks and green spaces, it’s no wonder that locals affectionately refer to this area as Fantastic Fleetwood. Or maybe that’s just us. Regardless, let’s not forget about the delicious restaurants, trendy boutiques, and bustling community events that give Fleetwood-Tynehead its unique flare. Whether you’re looking to catch some live music at the local pub or take a leisurely stroll through one of the many gardens, this neighbourhood truly has something for everyone.

3. Fraser Heights

Fraser

Taking Surrey to new heights, Fraser Heights is a great place to call home. Sitting on the north side of the highway, the neighbourhood has its own private, we’re-doing-our-own-thing-over-here kind of vibe to it. And homeseekers are clearly intrigued. With access to incredible parks, large single-family homes, and quick access to all parts of the Lower Mainland, there’s a lot to love about Fraser Heights.

4. Guildford

Guildford

It’s more than a mall. Guildford is a popular neighbourhood for homeseekers due to its convenient location and variety of amenities. It is located in the heart of Surrey, which is one of the fastest-growing cities in British Columbia, making it an ideal option for those looking to be close to other parts of the city. The neighbourhood offers a range of housing options, including single-family homes, townhouses, and condos, making it suitable for different types of home buyers. Additionally, Guildford offers easy access to major transportation routes such as Highway 1 and public transportation.

5. Clayton

Clayton

Clayton Heights is a great neighbourhood to call home for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, the area is family-friendly with plenty of parks and schools, making it a desirable location for families with children. Additionally, the neighbourhood has ample green spaces and parks, making it a hit with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors. It’s a great community for dog owners looking to get their pup out and about every day.

And with that, we hope you’re a little bit more informed on why each of these five neighbourhoods have attracted so much attention from homeseekers on REW. Stay tuned for further updates on Surrey, as well as most searched neighbourhood guides on other cities around the province.
